Hi,

My parents told me they ran out of money on the way to California from New Jersey, and so I was born in Colorado. Forever after, I have made an annual trip to experience the natural beauty of Colorado.

In March, while everyone in New Jersey where Ecco Bella is located,  was fed up with the snow, I could not get enough of it and was delighted to return to Colorado. Also, I am a hot springs seeker, having enjoyed Ojo Caliente in New Mexico, Calistoga and Palm Springs in California and Ischia in Italy. On this trip, I added the experience of Dunton Hot Springs, too.

nice!!...love dunton...and the historic little town the springs set in...such views of those huge mountain peaks! a very magical place. Next time you're thru Colorado check out Valley View Hot Springs in San Juan Valley-Southern Colorado. You can actually get to Taos from there in a couple of hours drive, via hwy 285. There is a huge bat cave there,.these bats migrate here yearly from Mexico. They fly out of their caves in what looks like a tornado at nite consuming billions of insects in the Valley. -the area surrounding -Crestone, Co a very interesting town with many spiritual communities including Buddhist Stupa sites.
